Attributes 💪

“You can’t teach an attribute, but you can provoke it. They are developed through the challenge of experience, not the comfort of a classroom.”

Skills vs Attributes

Too often, players possess elite skills but lack the fundamental attributes—like grit, resilience, and courage—required to sustain them. Skills are the tools we use to perform specific tasks, but they are the first to fail when we are tired, intimidated, or stressed. We don’t want players with brilliant technique who crumble under pressure.

While skills dictate what a player can do, attributes determine how they perform when the environment becomes unpredictable.
