Players in “elite” and national programs still lack basic technical skills. Yes, they can perform the latest tricks and flicks, but when the game is on the line and the crowd is roaring, can they execute a 10-yard pass at the correct moment, to the correct foot, and with the correct speed? Or do they execute that pass half a second late or half a yard wide?
Most of these elite programs can’t even define what technique is, let alone train and improve it. At ERFC, we not only train technical skills but also the attributes needed to sustain them.
